Dear Reader,
(I'm back. Again, this is another riveting tale to entrace the people dying of ennui. Enjoy! If you're not interested, then I suggest you exit stage left- i.e back button or go somewhere else)
Alright, here is another chronicle of a day in the life of ME- a.k.a Therese Regina Marie C. Basconcillo, a.k.a Trishiee (yes, my name is looong, I blame the parents for that. Not only am I named after a saint, I'm also named after the mother of God) NOT that it's a bad thing, albeit they're a tough act to follow. One woman was the virgin mother of God and the other was a devoted child of Jesus, dubbed as the "Little Flower" or something like that...
AGAIN, a tough act to follow. Why? Emmm... I honestly don't know how to answer that. I am a champion for certain causes like saving the ocean, helping animals, helping the poor (yes, I want to help them) well, basically, I wanna save fish, furry creatures (or scaly ones, oh just animals in general) and humans (the ones who are in need). Uh... does that qualify me for a slot in the "saint" department? Must check with Saint Peter on that one.
Where was I before I rambled on and on about my name? Ah... hoodies.
Last Saturday, I went shopping (I got my first paycheck on Friday YATAH!) I dragged my trusty sidekick (RLG) along for the jaunt. We went to HUMAN and there it was! my hoodie. It's brown with a skull print on the sleeves and hood, plus embelished on the front with the same skull theme. Yeah, the moment I saw it, it seemed like there was this glow from the heavens that landed on it and there was this heavenly sound echoing in my head. I had to have it. Of couse, when I presented the garment to some of the members of my family, only my sister reacted with enthusiasm, while my brother groaned and said: "You're becoming all EMO", my mother, my dear sweet opinionated mother made a moue and said: "Skulls again?".
I really don't know when I developed this strange affinity to skulls and all things macabre- when my dog died I suppose. Anyway, yeah, I just started collecting all things "skully" and well, mother never really liked it (noody does, I think). I'm not EMO (what is EMO anyway?) can somebody operationally define EMO?
1. I collect odd things
2. I listen to Punk or really loud rock music (but I like other genres as well)
3. I blog and write in a journal
4. I write poetry
Hmm... I don't try to slit my wrists or anything, in short, not suicidal.... So, uh, taking all that in perspective, am I EMO? Perhaps to a certain degree, I am, but not entirely... I don't really know why I'm compelled to discuss this...
Moving on, I intend to buy more (hoodies), since I work at the North pole and all, the least I can do is protect myself from the inevitable fate of becoming a popsicle- along with it, some socks and gloves to warm my hands and feet. That's abou it for the hoodie tale.
Movie watching. Since my shift ended today at 9:30 (started at 6), I'm basically a bum after that... So I amuse myself by watching movies on the World Wide Web. Last friday I watched Meet The Spartans and Iron Man. Sadly, the latter was a very crappy copy and much to my chagrin, Part 4 of the movie was busted. ARGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH.
RIght, now I'm waiting on Meet The Robinsons to buffer, and it is moving at a leisurely pace, i.e. I'll have grandchildren by the time this bugger is done loading up. So, here I am blogging about THIS. I can't say that I'm enjoying the movie, I'm developing arthritis as I type- it's that slow.
For Irene:
My work buddy and friend since circa 1997- present. It's odd eating without my lunch buddy- by lunch, I mean, 9:30-10:30. Alas! we have been parted by the mighty hand that controls our fate (our boss hehehehe) FYI I'm fine, don't worry about me (uhem... mommy). You know me- the organizing Nazi. Client was all praises today again... HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Darn net so slow, movies won't buffer WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Anyhoo, enjoy your shift later, get lotsa sleep. Oh, oh I'll see you at 5am.
Uhh.... what now?
Unfortunately I only had 1 cup of coffee for the day (which explains my lack of comedy, my apologies)
Not to worry, I'll fix this tomorrow...
ciao people.
